This podcast is intended to help the AP Euro students at Bozeman High School. The podcast is based off the information found in the following textbooks: McKay "A History of Western Society" Merriman "A History of Modern Europe: From the Renaissance to the Present" and Palmer "A History of the Modern World". In addition to these books Steve Mercado's class notes have been an invaluable source in creating the lecture outlines and can be purchased at historysage.com. Finally I would like to thank Roger Stip and Todd Beach for general inspiration and enrichment.

You have reached the life of an Aussie Kid as recorded in their own Aussie Kids PodcastRoom.
Welcome to our 2008 episodes. The students are working within a unit entitled "Being Aussie Being Proud".
Australia can be identified in many ways, from our unique plant and animal life to special places and people. Some say we have no claim to this country as we are not the traditional owners. Others say we only have a criminal history and just come from convict stock.
Others say we are a young country and have not had enough time to achieve anything special in the world. Our history is much greater than this.
But what makes our country unique in the world?
What really makes us Aussie and why should we be proud?
Just sit back, relax and enjoy another educational episode from the Aussie Kids PodCastRoom.

On June 10, 2009, Mr. Mark Bingen celebrated the end of his high school career at Waukesha South High School with his three AP English 12 students during three final exam periods. The last \"assignment\"? Prepare a farewell to the class - a personal graduation speech to the people the students had spent an entire year with.
Some of the farewells were (very) funny. Others were serious. All, in their own way, reflective.
The students brought in a digital voice recorder so that the farewell messages could optionally be saved for Mr. Bingen and everyone else in the class. In total, 55 (!) students recorded themselves. This is their recordings, placed in chronological order.
