Experts in Great Lakes history, the history of cartography, and remote sensing technology discuss 15 maps of Wisconsin and the Great Lakes region created over the course of three centuries. The maps are selected from an exhibit at the University of Wisconsin-Madison featuring 29 maps that trace the influence of the Great Lakes on the history of Wisconsin and the technical evolution of mapmaking since the 17th century.
