I’ve been a pilot for a major U.S. Carrier since 1989. Before that I flew A-10s for the Air Force. I was stationed at RAF Bentwaters in the UK, and then at McClellan AFB in California. I left the Air Force and then we won the cold war. I think it was just a coincidence

From a bar in Louisville, KY, old friends Jim, Brent, & Puckett (along with the bar full of drunken prophets) brood over the complexities of today’s pop-culture with a striking sense of originality, a smattering of charm, and a whole lot of humor. Together they ponder issues allowing the conversation drift unfettered to the corners of their expansive imaginations. In a single sitting they can touch on anything from their favorite music to movies they hate to books that changed their lives and everything else in between. They’re opinionated, blunt, and crass…so often they’re shows aren’t for the weak at heart. But they speak freely and honestly in the way only old friends can.

** glasgowgenerations.blogspot.com ** top-ten-glasgow-guide.com ** glasgowgenerations@googlemail.com ** A wee light-hearted family podcast run by Scott Docherty and his dad, Charlie Docherty. It’s about growing up and living in Glasgow from the 1940’s and onwards. The end of WWII and the regeneration still taking place; the tenement life with its community, cludgies and dykes; the deprivation; the auld patter, the Auld Firm, the auld trams; the steamie & the Co.; the No Mean City; the beating heart of music; the fashions; the dancin, the winchin and the favourite haunts; and all the little odds and ends that make Glasgow what she is today. Over time you’ll hear plenty of great personal stories and memories, and we welcome as many of your own, in the hope that as Glasgow continues to flourish down the years and finds her place amongst the most magnetic cities on the planet, we’ll have preserved here just a wee bit of her working class roots. It’s a pure stoater byraway! Intro track by The Banjo Boys provided courtesy of The Music Kitchen (www.themusickitchen.co.uk)

Each episode is a personal story, illustrating a moment in time that is forever embedded in the pictorial memory banks of it's owner, instantly recalled through the associative power of music.
Soundtrack of Our Lives
The show is refreshingly progressive, with an open mic format and an emphasis on conspiracy, collusion and non-transparency of government.
The host has a tongue-in-cheek, sardonic sense of humor and a pleasant demeanor with guests regardless of their political ideology. The show is a mix of comedy, paranormal, conspiracy and political topics.
McGee notes that "we talk about topics other shows in the [progressive talk] format won't even touch, and ask the questions listeners would if they were sitting in my chair". Much of the show takes the form of balanced interviews, open phone lines for callers to participate with guests, and honest, candid commentary by McGee.
The show takes several calls from listeners each hour at the phone number 1-877-353-1310. McGee says that "this is a radio version of a town-hall meeting and all points of view are respected, tolerated and given equal consideration".

Join me on the search for an Adventure... The amazing stories and Adventures read by me: Ahmad Al-Mutawa
Ahmad's Amazing Adventure
The story of mankind and history itself is often told by what tools we use and how we use them. There was the Stone age and then the Bronze and Iron Age - long spans of history that we recognize and define, not only by the great empires and and complex social structures of commerce and governance, but also by significant turning points in mankind's ability to fabricate his tools and engage the world through them. There was the advent of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry - a technology of sorts. History records the significance of Industrial Revolution that led eventually to the Space Age, and then there was prior to that the Printing Press and the Cotton Gin and the internal combustion engine and nuclear power. In short, mankind is, to a strong degree, defined by his technology, and History not only records, but also recognizes that every new advancement to the human race as a whole hinges on advancements in Technology.
The world is changing yet again. Computers and the Internet have placed us - TODAY - deep in the ocean of a historic moment - a revolution in the way we live, the way we interact and the way do commerce or govern ourselves. These are the times that posterity will look back and marvel at us and at what must have been the excitement of living in such historic times in the same way that we might wondered at the grandeur of Athens or Rome.
Podgnosticast strives to disclose and open a discourse how technology - computing, gadgets and the internet - is shaping us now into new creatures; shaping and changing us so rapidly - that it amounts to nothing short of yet another revolution in human history.
The world we know is dying, and a new one emerging. Perhaps for the first time, the shift is so swift that we may be able to recognize it while it is in process, rather than let our legacy tell us what we were.

The best interviews really aren’t interviews at all, but opportunities for those reading my work to feel privy to just wonderful conversations that will resonate in their lives. I hope this show serves as a different vehicle with the same goal," she said.
Don’t expect to find the same topic or genre every week. The selection will be as eclectic as its host, a show that is a potpourri representing all aspects of life featuring experts from every field.
