Pragmatic interviews, news, techniques, and more from the Pragmatic Bookshelf.
Pragmatic Podcasts
The Sons of Kryos is a show about RPGs, and everything that happens at the table. Sometimes we will venture under the gaming table, sometimes we will go to the fridge, or the bookshelf, and sometimes we will go to the computer. But we will always be centered around the table. From two geeks in Ithaca, N.Y.
Sons of Kryos
This collection recognizes Black History Month, February 2007. Two excellent resources for public domain African American writing are African American Writers (Bookshelf) and The Book of American Negro Poetry , edited by James Weldon Johnson. Johnson's collection inspired the Harlem Renaissance generation to establish a firm African-American literary tradition in the United States. (Summary by Alan)

From The Bookshelf
In today's hectic world, we long for a moment to catch our breath, relax, and take some time out for ourselves. Why spend that time alone when you can spend it in the company of a good book instead? This podcast will be devoted to a weekly book discussion of our current read. We'll cover many different types of books, including, but not limited to, romance, thrillers, suspense, and true crime. This differs than the typical book discussion because we gather weekly rather than monthly. I feel that getting together more frequently helps keep the interest in the book alive and moves the discussion along. I encourage feedback, comments, and answers to our discussion questions from the listeners. My goal is for this podcast to be interactive, with you, the listeners participating by answering our discussion questions or sending me comments or other insights you might have. Grab a cup of coffee, cappuccino, or a drink of your choice, relax in your comfortable chair, lose yourself in a good book, and join us for our discussions.

Book and author podcasts
We are two supposed grown-ups who never outgrew children's books, and we believe a bookshelf should only be empty when you're reading what was just on it. For every podcast, we pick a theme and round up our favorite books on the topic -- plus featured book recommendations from kids, for kids. Submit your book reviews and get more Kidsmomo at Kidsmomo.com! (For kids ages 8-13)
