Blurring the edges between reality and fiction, and set in an era when everything we do is photographed- or could be- A LOVE AFFAIR OF SORTS is a modern twist on romance in the digital age. The first feature film to be shot entirely on a flip camera, the narrative follows two lonely strangers in contemporary Los Angeles during the holiday season. The film begins with David (director David Guy Levy), a painter, and Enci (Lili Bordán), a Hungarian nanny, who meet in a bookstore when he catches her shoplifting on his ever-present flip camera. As they start a tentative relationship, everything is captured on digital cameras, though nothing about the situation is as straightforward as it looks. Things are further complicated with the inclusion of Enci's boyfriend Boris (Iván Kamarás), and David's brutally honest friend Jonathan (Jonathan Beckerman, playing himself, and unaware until the end of the film that it was fictional). The Devil arranges for a deceased gangster to return to Earth as a well-respected judge to make up for his previous life. Eddie is agreeable to having his soul transferred to the judge's body, as it will give him a chance to avenge himself on his killer. But every action taken by Eddie (as the judge) results in good rather than evil and, to Nick's dismay, the reputation and influence of the judge is enhanced, rather than impaired by Eddie. Getting Played is a 2005 television film directed by David Silberg, starring Vivica A. Fox, Bill Bellamy, Carmen Electra, and Stacey Dash. The film is about three beautiful women, who decide, on a bet, to select and seduce a total stranger. The film centers around three very attractive women who, after having many guy troubles themselves, decide to play a prank on a random man. Their goal is to seduce the man while catching the whole sequence on tape and ultimately humiliating him with the footage. Their plan runs into some snags, as the man they choose to prank knows what they are trying to do to him.
The man then has sex with Vivica A. Fox and Carmen Electra's characters while they video tape the intercourse's, only for him to change both tapes. He then goes on a date with Stacey Dash's character only to fall in love with her after finding that they both have a lot in common and they "look good together". In the end, they admit everything to each other, and after five minutes of begging, disturbing a couple eating dinner who they think that they are on a hidden camera show, decide to forgive each other and start out clean and honest.
